Councilmember Glidden will join us to discuss the Working Families Agenda. A set of powerful economic justice issues—fair schedule, sick leave, and minimum wage—were introduced to the city council earlier this fall but encountered stiff resistance from the city's business community. By now, all proposed changes have been dropped or postponed. What are the prospects for these issues in 2016?
